We Build Bridges.
TO CONNECT WITH A COMMUNITY BY ENGAGING WITH IT DEEPLY IS TO TRULY KNOW IT, ITS PEOPLE, AND ITS SOUL.
WE CONVENED THE COUNTRIES MOST DIVERSE DEVELOPERS SHAPING THE INDUSTRY
We supported the Baker Tilly’s DevelUP team in convening over 400 people in Chicago from 28 states, including 70 industry experts to discuss the state of the built environment, and the ways we will shape it for years to come. The DevelUP Conference brings together hundreds of diverse developers, asset managers, impact investors, financing partners, community leaders and industry professionals, to collaborate, network and drive meaningful business opportunities.
WE CREATED A CUSTOM EXPERIENCE FOR AN ELITE GROUP OF BUILDERS
We partnered with the Michigan Founders Fund to strategize and develop a two-day VIP experience for an inclusive network of high-growth founders. This experience encompassed thought-provoking discussions and immersive experiences focusing on innovation in the public and private sectors of Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI.
WE ‘MADE GOOD FAMOUS’ IN MIAMI WITH THE ELEVATE CREW.
We partnered with the Elevate Prize Foundation to build out their Miami Retreat at The Betsy Hotel. 2020 and 2021 global Elevate Prize winners and fellows gathered for four days of curated Q&As, workshops, and fireside chats.
Each year, the Elevate Prize provides $5 million in funding and services to 10 winners across the globe. Their goal is simple—to amplify people with big ideas that can elevate humanity.
WE DISCOVERED HOW TULSANS CHAMPION CHANGEMAKERS.
2021 marked the centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre. We’ve been building community with Tulsa since 2017 where we’ve brought our flagship event series to shine a light on the vibrant historic Greenwood District, best known as Black Wall Street to the Osage nation. Our efforts aided the creation, strategy, fundraising and the implementation of Build in Tulsa—an ecosystem focused on wealth creation in Black tech, business and entrepreneurship.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
WE BUILT LEARNING EXCHANGES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH CHANGEMAKERS.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation explores what it means to build a culture of health, with programming primed to influence health equity. They fund an array of initiatives to help address America’s most pressing health care challenges. We built “The Future Of” series to provide fiscal support, mentorship programs, virtual salons and workshops to grassroots social entrepreneurs working to address these disparities.
WE WENT DEEP INSIDE OURSELVES WITH ZICO.
We partnered with Zico to create unique all-day experiences in NY & LA that focused on the unfiltered stories of Breakers. We reached 3M+ people with the message that it's #What'sInside that counts.
#WHATSINSIDE
WE HIT THE STREETS WITH SHINOLA.
We partnered with Shinola and developed a custom branded bike tour through the streets of Detroit. We moved across the city, traversing everything from abandoned factories and gentrifying districts to sculpture parks, barbershop talks and small businesses. Additionally, we got a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Shinola factory with former President Jacques Panis. These immersive moments created a lasting impact between our Breakout community, Detroit and Shinola.

WE CLIMBED HIGHER WITH DELTA.
We partnered with Delta and our friends at The Big Quiet to create a live community event at the legendary Fox Theatre. This sold-out event featured mediations and musical performances from the city's top talent.
WE RALLIED THE TROOPS WITH GE.
GE believes that young people should use their energy for good. In a rare keynote event, GE Energy’s CEO Russell Stokes interviewed the beloved mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed. The message was simple - Take A City. The mayor’s rallying call traveled far beyond the room to reach 500K people online (NowThis).

WE KICKED IT WITH PUMA.
We collaborated with Puma to level the playing field and make soccer accessible to the Atlanta community. Together, we held a day-long competitive soccer tournament at the recently installed field and helped install the first field in the city’s major transition hub.

WE KICKED IT IN CHI WITH KELLOGG’S.
On the south side of Chicago, we worked with Kellogg’s and Emmanuel Pratt’s Sweetwater Foundation Urban Farms to create a block party filled with impactful conversations, homegrown vegetables, sports, and a neighborhood celebration.
WE GIVE LOCAL COMPANIES A BIG STAGE.
We worked with the real estate arm of Under Armour to produce our Breakout LIVE in Baltimore. It’s a one-night live event where we shine a light on the rockstar Breakers in that city. Expect music, spoken-word, riveting stories and for the entire neighborhood to be in the audience.
WE CHALLENGED FUJIFILM WITH AN IDEA.
The idea that cameras could be used for social good.
The mission: to create, capture, share and hold onto moments of kindness. So armed with INSTAX cameras, Breakers united with one another and the community to create moments worth holding onto.
